| EARLY FOUNDATIONS: PRESCHOOL Overview: Preschoolers are eager to learn A preschooler’s world opens up in new ways as children improve coordination, learn complex games, and begin to interact more with their peers. Our Early Foundation Preschool program introduces language, math, science and social skills in a logical, natural sequence to encourage learning one step at a time. Our teachers also provide plenty of individual attention to support your child’s unique needs. Our programs provides a rich classroom environment where children are encouraged to explore and are challenged to learn, while making friends and developing self – confidence. They strengthen their cognitive skills with fun memory games in which they match objects that share similar characteristics. And, because children learn best by doing, we provide opportunities for hands – on experiences, such as creating collages, which combines creative expression with a tactile experience. Features: Your Preschooler’s Day To ensure every day is a great day for your child, our caring, experienced teachers create activities that combined both learning and fun. Our curriculum is organized into theme – based units, beginning with topics most familiar to children. As children develop their skills and confidence, our teachers address more complex topics. These thematic units prompt discussion about the world and also in an enthusiastic environment. Each unit incorporates language, mathematics, science, creative arts, music, motor skills, and social development. Group time is also integral part of your preschooler’s day, when your child learns to enhance his or her social skills. Our teachers invite your child to listen, share, take turns, cooperate, demonstrate curiosity, and give and receive feedback. These social development skills support preschooler’s ability to flourish in a classroom environment and demonstrate new learning while having FUN! Language and Literacy: Daily actives develop reading and writing skills and introduce important literacy concepts. We use high-quality children’s literature to promote a love of reading. Math Skills: Children are introduced to the rich world of numbers, including sorting, grouping, and counting, as well as more advanced math skills. Creativity and Imagination: Children showcase their abundant creativity through dramatic play, music, and art. Creative activity develops imagination independence, and fosters confidence.
