| Program Philosophy: We begin with age – appropriate environments that encourage children to learn, play, and explore. Books and blocks, puppets and paper, toys and tambourines. You name it. There are sticks for counting, seeds, for planting, and plenty of exploring. If you’re a young child, you’ll find an endless assortment of activities that engage your interest and stimulate your mind. Morning Stars Learning Program – where your child will learn, play, and explore. Our program is designed to meet the developmental needs of young children. (3 to 6 years of age). It provides experiences that enrich and enhance each child’s cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical and creative development. Within our center’s daily schedule, each child has opportunities to create and explore the environment. Learn problem solving, personal interaction skills, and learn concepts through first hand experiences. Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self and teacher directed activities. Opportunities for solitary plays well as group activities are provided. Staff serves as positive role models, and provides care that is supportive, nurturing, warm and responsive to each child’s individual needs. We respect parents as the primary and most important provider of care, and nurturing and we believe parents and teachers are partners in the child’s care and education.
